Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Potpot is a focus timer that turns focused time into a cozy cooking experience. This policy explains what information Potpot processes, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information we process
Account information
If you create an account, Potpot may process your email address or the account identifier provided through Sign in with Apple, together with an internal user ID used to keep your Potpot data associated with your account.
Focus and cooking activity
Potpot may store your cooking attempts, focus duration, completion result, recipe progress, and related in-app statistics. If you are signed in, this information may be synced so that your Cookbook and focus history can be restored across supported devices.
Purchase information
Apple processes payments for subscriptions and lifetime purchases. Potpot may receive purchase status and entitlement information needed to unlock paid access. Potpot does not receive your full payment-card details.
Screen Time selections
Potpot uses Apple Screen Time frameworks to let you choose apps for your Kitchen Kit and apply focus restrictions during a cooking session. Your selected app tokens and Screen Time configuration are stored on your device and are not uploaded to Potpot's cloud account system.
How we use information
- To create and maintain your Potpot account.
- To sync your Cookbook, focus history, and statistics.
- To enforce free-trial and paid-access rules.
- To restore purchases and determine subscription or lifetime access.
- To provide account security, troubleshooting, and support.
Service providers
Potpot uses service providers that process limited information on our behalf:
- Supabase for authentication, database storage, and cloud sync.
- RevenueCat for purchase entitlement and subscription status.
- Resend for authentication email delivery.
- Apple for Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases, and Screen Time frameworks.
Tracking and advertising
Potpot does not sell your personal information and does not use third-party advertising trackers to follow you across other companies' apps or websites.
Data retention and deletion
Account-linked Potpot data is retained while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. You can request permanent account deletion directly inside Potpot. Account deletion removes your Potpot account and cloud-synced Potpot data, subject to limited retention where required by law or necessary for security and fraud prevention.
Deleting your Potpot account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription or issue a refund. Subscription management remains with Apple.
Your choices
You may use parts of Potpot without signing in where supported. You can sign out at any time, and you can delete your account from the in-app Settings screen.
Security
Potpot uses technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information processed. No system can guarantee absolute security, but access to cloud data is restricted to the authenticated account associated with that data.
Children and local requirements
Potpot is a general productivity app. Where local law requires parental or guardian consent for a person to use an online service, Potpot should only be used with the required consent.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Potpot evolves. The date at the top of this page will indicate the latest revision.
